Responsible for Yarwun’s refinery production, raw materials and product quality KPI’s, as well as the process optimisation and plant efficiency improvement projects, on the tactical level. Led the preparation, engagement of stakeholders and execution of trials across the plant, following management of change standards. Also responsible for the delivery and management of technical instructions to the Central Control Room and Operational teams on a routine basis.As part of the business transformation initiatives, delivered projects to minimise steam consumption in Digestion, reducing scale in Lead Washers, and improving bauxite recovery and operational stability of Clarifiers. Successfully managed a major bauxite type change transition process in late 2018. Developed a standard framework for internal problem solving sessions (3 in a row process) using DMAIC principles.Delivered a Bayer process basics training pack for the broad audience on site, motivated by the belief that people can perform better when they understand the basics of the business their have been part of.

Led the operating model system optimization work, ensuring the plant performance goals were met at the operational level.Coordinated the structuring and implementation of the new PPC and costs monitoring teams in the unit.

Responsible for key process indicators in the precipitation and calcination areas at CBA's Alumina Refinery, developing simulations for those areas.Black belt coach for Six Sigma projects of CBA's Alumina Refinery. Project lead to reduce water make up consumption for steam generation.

Responsible for the digestion, sand classification and clarification areas key process indicators of CBA's Alumina Refinery. Developed simulations of alumina precipitation in digestion outlet and thickener overflows for alumina losses control.Green Belt in a successful project to reduce alumina losses in red mud.

Responsible for key process indicators, feedwell studies and flocculent performance optimization in the clarification area of CBA's Alumina Refinery;Developed simulations for the digestion blow-off A/C ratio control, which supported improvements to minimize the ratio control variation.

Responsible for 80 employees of the Control Room, Operations and Maintenance teams, ensuring the delivery of safety, environment, production and product quality goals every shift, taking corrective actions whenever required.
