The Telecon Design group creates cable path designs and engineers telecommunication networks for the various companies in Canada and the United States.As a Project Coordinator, I am in charge of ensuring timely deliveries and a high standard of quality for projects under my control. While managing multiple projects, my duties include; analyzing high level designs, issuing survey requests, assigning drafting and engineering work, quality checks of all CAD and engineering work, creating budget sheets for each task and ensuring all tasks adhere to project schedule. Once projects are completed to the high standard set by Telecon, the P.Eng approved drawings are sent to the appropriate Hydro distributor. Other duties have included: revisions and design changes from Engineers and clients, short stream Municipal Consent applications, site visits to verify surveyed information and to investigate potential roadblocks and contact with customers to ensure all parties are satisfied with work being completed.

As part of our project in Sudbury, ON, I am charged with producing accurate technical drawings that indicate all details for telecommunication cable installation. Drawings include surveyed information for each pole and topographical information provided by surveyors.All drawings are checked and submitted to Engineers for final approval.

I have been fulfilling my co op requirement with the township in the Environmental Services department. I have been asked to update Operations Manuals for drinking water pumping stations in the area, to write detailed procedures for tasks carried out by the township, create Annual and Summary reports for the Ministry of the Environment and some computer research. During my time I have used AutoCAD extensively and now consider it one of my strongest skills. I have written several technical documents and am very comfortable with my work being reviewed and accepting constructive criticism. Other skills developed include: Customer Service, ArcView GIS, practical knowledge of drinking water systems, OIT Certification in Drinking and Waste Water
