• John Holland engaged Daniel as a contracts administrator on the new South West Rail Link. The project involved the construction of new 11.4km rail line from Glenfield to Leppington, with two new train stations.

• Daniels involvement with the Ararat Prison project was to provide general delivery and commercial advice, the consortium involved in the construction works was in Administration and therefore required significant.

• Managed all aspects of procurement, cost control, planning and contract management disciplines
• Assessment of claim entitlement including negotiations of extensions of time
• Management of all correspondence to reduce commercial exposure

London, United Kingdom

• The sub-surface railway upgrade was an upgrade program to the London Underground network, consisting of nine individual lines. The upgrade program included significant capital investment in track, rolling stock.
• Platform lengthening project was to enable the new 8-car rolling stock to be introduced onto the network, the project included refurbishment of all station assets including mechanical and electrical upgrades.
• Daniels involvement with the project spanned from tender stage to asset handover to the maintainerLadbroke Grove Station Upgrade ($3m)
• The project consisted of a full station upgrade project, including platform lengthening, bridge strengthening, communications and fire system upgrades
• Daniel supported the project team during the construction phase, assessed variations, claims for extension of time, developed budgets and forecasts and implemented cost saving initiatives.
