I currently manage a team of 10 data Security Analysts, with responsibility for applying the necessary controls to secure sensitive data within Centrica’s global estate. I was required to oversee the initial scope of the programme, which was initiated to ensure GDPR legislation compliance; the programme also encompassed long term unstructured data and data loss prevention policies across the entire global estate. During my time here, I successfully defined business stakeholder requirements, as well as the project strategy and processes to meet organisational objectives. Throughout this role, I held full responsibility for the daily management and direction of Security Analysts, as well as communicating progress reports to Senior Level and Director Level Stakeholders.

As a Rental Solutions Manager, I spearheaded the planning and delivery of all technology systems needed for domestic and international client projects. I was personally challenged with defining client requirements, with further responsibility for recommending and assisting in the creation of system design. This role is one that I am most proud of in my career, I successfully maintained responsibility for the delivery of live Results services for 12 Olympic and Paralympic Sports and Venues including; Tennis, Golf, Gymnastics, Boxing and Track Cycling. I oversaw the development and management of the recruitment strategy, to recruit a team of 85+ results venue management staff. During my role here, I managed the development of governance, communication matrices and Functional Area operating plans. One of my biggest achievements in this role, was that I held direct management of 15 Results management staff providing direction and motivation for day to day tasks, with further responsibility for the development of project scope, plan, schedule and management of project delivery using project management tools. Throughout my time here, I was challenged with identifying and communicating risks, issues and management of mitigating actions to meet organisational objectives. I was able to capture and communicate all internal and external stakeholder requirements and management of operational delivery, whilst directly managing the point of escalation for stakeholder issues and concerns, as well the development of operational policies and procedures. As the Cluster Results Project Manager, I trained and mentored of all results team members (100+) in software testing, venue planning and operational delivery processes and procedures. I delivered regular project progress reporting to the Olympic Committee and International Olympic Committee (IOC) stakeholders. I also pioneered the management of recruitment and training strategy for over 500 operational volunteer resources, as well as the operational management of Live Results delivery on 12 venues during the Olympic and Paralympic Games.

Whilst working within the London Organising Committee for Olympic and Paralympic games, I championed the delivery of the Results Service for Volleyball and Sitting Volleyball through managing the full software delivery lifecycle, including; stakeholder requirements specification and system development testing. I pioneered the venue installation of all IT/LAN infrastructure and then the operation of live Results Services at Games Time. I also actively defined service requirements with international sport stakeholders, whilst managing software development processes with partners/suppliers. I also oversaw infrastructure requirements definition, planning and implementation of IT/LAN infrastructure into the venue. During my role, I was tasked with spearheading the operational management of a venue-based results services, whilst working with Broadcast/Press Services to efficiently deliver live sports results. As a Venue Results Project Manager, I coordinated and delivered the training and management of 60+ volunteers and mentored of team members in the results service delivery process. Throughout my role, I was required to manage the delivery and operation of all technology infrastructure into the required venue to deliver results services at live games times.

Within this key position, I pioneered a large number of the services delivered for high profile projects with budgets from £500K - £20million. I championed the management of an upgrade of 5000+ analogue CCTV cameras to centralised digital solution across all UK BAA airports. I also successfully upgraded existing standalone x-ray and archway security systems in a nationwide project throughout UK BAA Airports. I was required to maintain full responsibility for managing the implementation of the systems and managing the relationship between stakeholders and suppliers to ensure successful completion of the project. I also pioneered the successful management of in-house technology teams and 3rd party suppliers ensuring minimal impact on airport operations and passengers. I worked with the Network/ IT Teams to ensure that the BackOffice/ LAN infrastructure was delivered, whilst managing the transitions of systems to maximise BAU support. I also actively ensured the successful delivery of all agreed services, whilst acting as the immediate point of contact for any stakeholder issues or queries. Throughout my time here, I did play an overall key role in the development and training of IT support teams to enable them to effectively provide support for the new operating systems.
