I work with the executive and product teams on product vision. This involves planning for and documenting product syncs, creating epic roadmaps and user stories, designing wireframes and hi-fidelity mock-ups, and coordinating delivery with the development team.

Imbellus is seeking to create better tools for assessing how people think and problem solve rather than what they know. We do this through the usage of a game engine that leverages natural-world-simulations and globally-shared knowledge in creating relatable but novel tasks that require specific types of thinking (e.g. analytical vs. quantitative). At Imbellus, I work with our data science team to engineer our game-to-score pipeline, conceptualize and prototype ML/Stochastic learning models on top of our game scores, and perform various analyses where relevant. In addition, as an APM, I work on scoping, setting priorities, writing user stories, and other design tasks associated with the development of our new client-facing platform.

I help aggregate insights, needs, and constraints from the sales, marketing, customer success, and development teams in the endeavor of improving product strategy. A lot of my bandwidth goes towards researching different PM frameworks and processes and standardizing the product workflow at our rapidly growing company. Some responsibilities include writing out feature scenarios, product road maps, and timelines for sprint management.

The Brigham and Women's Hospital Division of Sleep Medicine has the premiere academic sleep research facility in the country and runs countless sleep studies that address various questions about the interactions of the Circadian Pacemaker, Light, Sleep, and other physiological factors. As a researcher there, I work on automating Matlab data analysis for fitting a model of light’s influence on the circadian system and endogenous salivary melatonin concentration. This is interesting because melatonin is a good marker of circadian rhythm and the model could allow us to predict circadian phase only using only people's recent light exposure history.

StartLabs is MIT's largest Undergraduate Entrepreneurship Student Group, for which I explore potential partnerships (sponsor, speaker, mentor, etc.) with local companies and entrepreneurs. I've assisted in organizing and running StartIAP, a one month introduction to entrepreneurship for 19 Startup teams, and planning our Startup Career Fair attended by forty companies.

As part of the Global Startup Labs program, which seeks to bring the MIT process of learning and innovation to other countries, I am helping teach university students from across Malaysia the skills of founding a tech company. As the assistant instructor on a team of three, I not only teach modules on skills like primary market research or web development, but also help organize the entire curriculum, guest speakers, and program events.

I study inhibitory circuits involved in memory formation using mouse behavioral paradigms. More in detail, I perform brain surgeries, put mice through behaviors, excise and process post-mortem brains, and use microscopy to understand the roles of certain genes and neuron sub-populations in different types of learning.

I worked on a team to develop a dosimetry system for a relatively new cancer treatment modality known as photodynamic therapy, which uses certain chemicals-photosensitizers-that absorb energy from specific wavelengths of light and energizes ground-state oxygen to the singlet state causing nearby oxidation and cell necrosis in the tumor. More specifically I implemented and improved Matlab code for solving a system of coupled chemical kinetics differential equations and found parameter values that fit experimental data involving necrosis radius, light intensity, photosensitizer concentration, and treatment duration.
