I currently work at Radisson Hotels as a Food and Beverage Associate; where I have shadowed the accounts department to gain skillset insights into their daily operations. I have been directly involved in accounts payable and accounts receivable within my experience, where I learnt about invoice processing and maintaining ledgers, including how the entire financial operations were completed. Within this role, I developed time management skills by balancing my duties within the food and beverage service and the accounting tasks. I honed my problem-solving skills by helping to identify and resolve discrepancies. Additionally, I have learnt the importance of effective communication and teamwork by consistently liaising with other departments to ensure smooth operations.These experiences have equipped me with a well-rounded skill set of skills and a deep understanding of the accounting profession, which I am keen to continue developing while pursuing a career in finance and accounting.
