About Daniel Cieraszynski
As an International Studies and Business Analytics Major, I have been passionate about using data and research to help make the world a better place. During my first year, I explored my interests a lot by joining organizations like the DU Undergraduate Research Journal, becoming a Student Ambassador for Save the Children Action Network, and being involved in Casa De Paz after joining the Pioneer Leadership Program in the middle of the year. Also, in the middle of my Freshman year, I became a Resident Assistant as well. I then grew an interest in data analysis which inspired me to change my International Business Major to Business Analytics and add on an International Studies major. I worked as a Database Assistant for the Graduate School of Professional Psychology and took on an internship as a Data Analyst Intern at Marathon Medical over the Summer. Currently, I am at the University of Denver as a Research Assistant at the Pardee Center for International Futures and work at CDOT as a Process Improvement Intern where I help manage and streamline their data processes. Before, I was a Teaching Assistant for the Microsoft Office Programs at the Daniels College of Business. I also took on leadership positions as a Senior Humanities Editor for the DU Undergraduate Research Journal and Co-Founded the Save the Children Action Network Club at the University of Denver. For the Pioneer Leadership Program, I received the First Bank Scholarship which gave me the opportunity to volunteer with organizations like Junior Achievement to inform more people about financial literacy. In the future, I hope to continue my desire to help my community and do so in a way where I can research crucial international issues like international trade and economic development or focus on consulting and data analytics for multinational firms. My ultimate goal is to use data analysis in order to analyze trends and patterns in order to find creative solutions to issues in our global economy.
