I worked with employers to develop and deliver training in technology-related topics for professionals not currently in technology-related roles. These programmes included data analysis, cybersecurity and digital business, as well as specialist programmes for accountants. I also managed a range of other projects related to learning technology and innovation.

I had overall responsibility for the educational quality and product strategy of Accountancy & Tax at BPP, a global leader in education that develops careers. This included oversight of the development of our written materials, approach to teaching, tutor interaction, question practice and feedback, and the non-academic support we offer. My goal was to ensure that our courses continued to be market leading, utilise technology well, and develop in line with solid educational principles and the needs of our students and clients.

I managed a team of 22 Subject Matter Experts, who develop content for BPP courses and textbooks leading to finance qualifications and apprenticeships. We also write content for accountancy institutes all over the world under contract. I was responsible for all resourcing and line management issues, as well as managing relationships with our freelance writers.

I had responsibility for designing programmes leading to professional finance qualifications and apprenticeships and providing support to tutors delivering those programmes. I also managed a team of SMEs who specialise in management and strategy subjects.

External examiner for 12 modules including Management in Context, Management/Consultancy/Work Based Project, The Management of Innovation, Enterprise & Entrepreneurship and Enhanced Leadership.
