Daniel Clarkin is the Senior Vice President for Global Managed Review Services at KLDiscovery. As the Senior Vice President for Global Managed Review Service, Mr. Clarkin is responsible for providing consultative support to KLDiscovery's clients and is responsible for global operations across the Managed Review Services business line. His team of more than 60 eDiscovery professionals recruit and manage more than 800 review attorneys located across Europe, India and North America and is responsible for over 20% of KLDiscovery's annual revenue. Mr. Clarkin has more than sixteen years of experience advising clients on a variety of eDiscovery issues related to investigations, litigations and regulatory/compliance matters. During his career, Mr. Clarkin has managed engagements for clients in numerous industries including telecommunications, life sciences, mining and energy with a primary focus on banking and financial services. Prior to joining KLDiscovery, Mr. Clarkin worked for four years at Ernst & Young (“EY”), first as a Manager and later as a Senior Manager, where he helped to launch their managed document review practice. As a Senior Manager with EY's Managed Document Review practice he advised the firm’s clients on review workflows that helped to manage their risk as well as minimize the costs associated with investigations and disputes. He also played a major role in the expansion of EY’s practice domestically and had a significant role in launching their practice in India. Before joining EY, Mr. Clarkin worked as a Staff Attorney for Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton LLP in their litigation, bankruptcy and white-collar defense practices where he oversaw all aspects of the eDiscovery process from collection through trial.Mr. Clarkin has previously served as a member of the Board of FC Berna/Legacy, which is a non-profit soccer club in New Jersey offering youth premier, travel, and recreational programs to players aged 4 -18 years with total enrollment of ~1,000 players. His last role on the board was serving as the President of FC Berna/Legacy. He was also a member of the board for his parish’s CYM Basketball program where he coached his daughter’s team for 4 years. Currently he serves as a member of the Knights of Columbus and volunteers on a number of events related to supporting the community in Lancaster County, SCMr. Clarkin received his JD from Rutgers School of Law and his BA from Seton Hall University. He is admitted to the New York State Bar.
