About Daniel Clucas

Daniel has a lifelong passion for sustainable and inclusive design, and this has led him to launch Studio ID, a consultancy focusing on reducing the environmental impact of transport interiors through better design. Studio ID rethinks systems, uses environmental impact data and creates inspiring, sustainable designs.www.studioID.designDaniel was previously an Associate Director at leading design consultancy Acumen and spent 16 years designing some of the most impactful and innovative cabin products.He kicked off Unum's sustainability journey and led the design of their "One" seat - which breaks new ground for environmental impact. He's is a highly creative and disruptive designer, being a named inventor on many patents in aircraft interiors including Recaro’s Business Class seat - the CL6710. Daniel's other project highlights include being lead designer on "Access" - the worlds first expanding PRM accessible lavatory for a narrowbody aircraft, and lead designer on JetBlue's class leading new A320Neo cabins, including the Mint Suite and game changing Mint Studio products.
