I am a solicitor practicing in Family Law with experience in related areas of law including wills and estates, child support, child protection, domestic and family violence.I am a one of the partners and principal solicitor at Parry Coates Family Law, a specialist Family Law firm which has, since establishment, operated to assist clients heading in a different direction, and a new beginning. Prior to this I worked at a private family law firms both small and large, gaining experience in large and small property matters, including complex trust arrangements and overseas property interests, as well as parenting matters, ranging from complex to collaborative. I have also practiced family law at Legal Aid Queensland, representing the interests of disadvantaged Queenslanders in family and related areas of law, gaining significant litigation experience. My tertiary qualifications include Bachelor of Psychology, Bachelor of Laws and Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice, all obtained from the Queensland University of Technology. During my studies, I was invited to join the Golden Key International Honours Society in recognition of scholastic achievement and excellence in law study.I have significant experience representing clients as a solicitor advocate and also by instructing junior and senior counsel in the Family Court of Australia, Federal Circuit Court of Australia, various Magistrates Courts of Queensland and the Children's Court of Queensland.
