I am Daniel Comeaux D.C. ART, a new graduate of Parker Chiropractic School in Dallas,TX.While at Parker Chiropractic School, I was an Honors student with a heavy interest in sports. I was fortunate enough to participate in an internship at Chirosport Specialists of Dallas. Under Troy Van Biezen, I was able to learn all of the newest and most effective treatment techniques used in the athletic world.I am currently working to open a new chiropractic clinic in Monroe,LA in April/May 2013. Premier Chiropractic Specialists LLC will be an modern, innovative sports based clinic where we wil focus on the three phases of an athletes progression through our office. The first phase, rehabilitation will consists of locating and diagnosing the athletes injuries and deficiencies followed by an individualized treatment protocol. The second phase, performance will occur when the patient is released back to their sport. This is usually on a limited basis while being continuously observed and assessed. Once the athlete can perform at 100% we shift them into the prevention phase. The prevention phase consists of a detailed at-home regimen of corrective exercises, stretches and drills. During this phase the athlete will be seen on a two week basis until free of deficiencies and risk for future injury. We will also treat the general public using the same approach. The services at Premier Chiropractic Specialists will be new and dynamic. They will consist of the traditional chiropractic approach, Active Release Technique, Functional Movement Screen, Selective Functional Movement Assessment, massage therapy, dry needling, cupping, therapeutic exercises and physiotherapy modalities such as therapeutic ultrasound, electric muscle stimulation, interferential current, and many other modalities.
