As a Senior Enterprise Architect for Xerox Back Office, I provide leadership and spearheaded strategic initiatives to modernize and rationalize a portfolio of 120+ applications. Over the past 5 years I have delivered many strategic projects that have mitigated security exposures, reduced licensing costs, and helped to retire several legacy applications. These projects have included multiple layers of infrastructure from OS and database to Web Service technologies and Java. Utilizing data-driven risk analysis to determine candidate lists and socializing the business with the cost and approach for these efforts provided an opportunity devise unique methods to deliver complex information to an audience not used to engineering-type details. Along with these key projects, I provide architecture oversight to any and all IT projects that are worked for the USCBO Plan Organization. This entails working with my peers across Xerox to determine and help adhere to the standards for excellence in Enterprise Architecture.

As the Lead Application and DBA resource, I provided Production and Architecture Support, managed business leader communications for production support issues, led support for Mission Critical applications responsible for product use input and billing, Mainly responsible for management 80 databases across 6 servers 23 of them production (Oracle and SQL Server on UNIX and WinTel), Set the direction for Oracle Database strategy for modernizing current environment from 9i products, providing business level reports showing systems performance and defect tracking. Responsibilities also included leading technical charge for moving several Business Critical Applications and related databases from hardware scheduled for decommission.This required a unique approach to bridging business and technical channels to communicate complex information between different vendors, server platforms and business partners.

Supported Student Loan Origination as team lead of Oracle and SQL Server Database operations encompassing; production environment support, database technology review, database maintenance utility creation and performance metrics collection and reporting, database tools evaluation and consolidation and capacity planning.
