• Assist UNHCR Representative in Ecuador in the design, layout and preparation of brochures and a UNHCR newsletter for external counter-parts including donor governments. • Design a Public and Private Sector Fundraising Strategy for the UNHCR operation in Ecuador• Visit on mission all Field Offices throughout the country in order to support the drafting of proposals and reports to donors.• Contribute to the preparation of project proposals. including the development of programme objectives, outputs expected, and budgets. • Develop a system for tracking reporting requirements and necessary follow-up with donor governments that helps to ensure the effectiveness and credibility of UNHCR's programmes • Assist in the preparation of donor missions to the field and accompany such missions whenever required.• Aid in the preparation of presentations used for meetings with donor governments.• Represent UNHCR in meetings with donors (private and public), UNHCR implementing partners, and other external counter-parts, as required. • Assist with any other activities in support of the Programme Unit, particularly those related to donor relations and fundraising.
