At age 4, I was diagnosed with a learning disability which impacted my behavior and ability to make friends. In middle school, my parents bought me a membership to a YMCA. Exercise changed my life by building my confidence and helping me control my outbursts. At 21, I was diagnosed with a mood disorder and autoimmune disease. Fitness became my lifeline and gave me the strength and confidence to take control of my life. I felt called to help others do the same.MY BIO:Daniel Stein is the visionary CEO of Special Strong and a pioneering leader in adaptive fitness. Daniel is dedicated to transforming the lives of individuals with mental, physical, and cognitive challenges. Under his leadership, Special Strong has revolutionized the fitness industry by certifying over 1,400 adaptive trainers across 27 countries and positively impacting the lives of more than 10,000 athletes. Driven by a passion to make fitness more inclusive, Daniel has spearheaded the "Adaptive Fitness" movement, creating opportunities for those with adaptive needs to live a more independent and abundant life through holistic wellness. He is also the driving force behind the development of the AdaptiveFit app, making fitness accessible to everyone, everywhere. Residing in Texas with his wife and two children, Daniel continues to lead innovation and growth in the adaptive fitness field.
