Continuation of my role at Senda Biosciences, now leading the Talent Acquisition function for the merged organization, Sail Biomedicines.Sail Biomedicines was formed in October 2023, uniting first-in-category technologies from across the Flagship Pioneering ecosystem, and bringing more than eight years of combined data and multi-product platform-building to Sail.This included the first platform to leverage a chemical code of Natural NanoParticles (NNPs) that are designed to enable directed and repeatable deployment of RNA to cells and tissues of choice; eRNA™, a new class of synthetic, translatable, and stable RNA that can be programmed for durable expression of proteins inside the body; and proprietary generative AI technologies that are helping to supercharge Sail’s efforts.

Established & lead Senda’s first Talent Acquisition function built on a foundation of true partnership and collaboration across hiring teams and key stakeholders. Defined, established, and executed the TA strategy & operations to be streamlined and non-intrusive by leveraging automation functions in various HR systems. The Opal Platform makes it possible for scientists to review human data to discover previously unsuspected associations between genetic markers and disease and design and discover proprietary new molecules.

Work directly with the Head of Executive Search to understand the requirements of open roles and how they fit into the broader organization to develop research, sourcing, and candidate development strategies with a focus on diversity and inclusion.-Define and execute market research plans to identify calibration profiles and analytics on the current candidate market for hiring managers and the leadership team.-Identification, engagement, and initial interview of candidates for both technical & cultural fit using behavioral interviewing methods. -Provide reporting, feedback, candidate write ups and recommendations to both hiring managers and the Head of Executive Search for go-no-go decisions on candidate advancement.-Ownership of NA & global executive pipeline for succession planning of leadership, as well as the global referral pipeline for the candidate care of high potential future hires.

Joined The Hennessy Group as the only FTE Search Consultant as the company began to re-establish its footprint in the Retained Executive Search industry. -Led all full cycle recruitment driving the successful closing of high value contracts including Chief Medical Officer, VP Cell and Gene Therapy Manufacturing, VP Finance, VP RA CMC, and other positions across R&D.-Leveraged market research and the analysis of the current candidate landscape to influence hiring managers to rethink initial search parameters for hard to fill searches.-While not personally responsible for new business development I assisted in the creation of company marketing materials and attended BD calls to help differentiate our approach to search from other firms.Managed and established operational SOP’s, responsible for implementation and management of company systems.-Tested, implemented, and built out a new ATS systems for the first time since the company’s inception and assisted in the identification of valuable data for a more efficient integration.-Improved the company’s response rate by analyzing the current LinkedIn hit rate and implementing ZoomInfo to expand the outreach methods beyond InMail’s.-Coached other employees on the effective use of more advanced research methods (Boolean searches, FDA databases, and other online tools that were not being utilized.)
