I work as a Senior Client Operations associate for Just Park, a company leader in the sector of Parking. I am originally from Northern Italy but have been based in London since 2014. I’ve attended Goldsmiths University where I've completed a Bachelor in International Relations. My goal is to build a career in sustainable mobility/transport. My role in Just Park is to assist B2B and Local Authorities with their operational needs. My responsibilities include training and oversee of new staff within the Client Operations team, onboarding new sites and clients to the platform, carrying-out client requests and implementing seasonal and ad-hoc tariff changes for B2B clients. Just Park is one of the fastest-growing mobility companies in the UK. The company’s mission is to move towards more sustainable mobility through innovation. I share this vision too and I believe companies like Just Park (alongside governmental policies) will make this process more efficient and less disruptive. This position feels like a perfect continuation of my studies both in terms of skills and direction. My Education covered Contemporary International Relations, Environmental Protection, National and International governance as well as Political Theory and Chinese and Japanese Politics. This has given me a much bigger understanding and expanded my vision of the present and the future. The challenges the world is facing because of the climate crisis have deep ramifications on every aspect of our society. Action from all sides is required to face this issue. The skills I’ve developed during University (such as being able to work independently and under pressure, respect deadlines and stress the importance of ensuring that my work is always above and beyond the required standard) have been important for this role. My aim is to use what I’ve learned from University and from my work experience to build a career in sustainable mobility and help our society to move towards a more sustainable organization.
