Mentoring staff on leadership and business partnering. Drafting and negotiating agreements, and counseling senior business clients/executives on related issues. Leading negotiations with prospective collaborators regarding agreements for the sharing of regulated data, and counseling project leaders/executives on the impact of domestic and international privacy regulations including HIPAA, FERPA, The Privacy Act of 1974, CIPSEA, 42 CFR Part 2, COPPA, PPRA, GDPR, POPIA, and PDPA on such negotiations. Creating custom workflow for review of such agreements including coordination with Privacy Officer, Chief Information Security Officer, and director of Office of Research Protection. Documenting data sharing agreement intake and tracking in specially configured Microsoft Power App. Leading due diligence and integration for organization in support of divestiture, merger and acquisitions activities, and collaborating with executive, corporate development, finance, sales-side contracting, and operational teams.
