Interactive Ontario's mandate is to promote the interests of the Digital Media sector in Ontario and to enlist the support of government and private sector partners with a vested interest in the growth of the digital media content industry.

As co-CEO and Executive Producer of Smokebomb, in conjunction with Jarrett Sherman, I led the development and production of all of Smokebomb's original series and TV companion digital experiences. In my capacity as CEO, I was responsible for leading the creative and strategic vision of the company, overseeing all aspects of project development, production and financing, and managing all key stakeholder relations. As Executive Producer, I created and produced many standout digital experiences that drew huge fan bases and garnered many awards and nominations. While at Smokebomb, we produced several convergent online projects for Shaftesbury, including The Listener (CTV); Murdoch Mysteries: Curse of the Lost Pharaohs (Citytv); Overruled (Family Channel); Baxter (Family Channel) and Bloodletting & Miraculous Cures (TMN, Movie Central). I was also actively involved in developing and creating Smokebomb‟s slate of original online series for digital deployment, including Totally Amp’d and State of Syn, two groundbreaking App series that blend episodic live action with a suite of interactive games and activities.I co-founded Smokebomb with my business partner Jarrett Sherman in 2007 after telling him he needed a show-stopper to end his kick-ass pitch competition.
