Daniel Dea is a business technopreneur from Malaysia. He is currently the Managing Director of WRO International Sdn Bhd, an internet technology company which believes in what technology makes possible.WRO International Sdn Bhd started out providing website design, digital marketing and SAAS software for small & medium enterprises (SMEs). WRO International has served thousands of companies across 42 countries, mainly in Malaysia, the United States and Singapore since 2012.For the first 5 years of business, Dea was involved in tech-investment for multiple startup ideas, also spearheading several unique startup projects of his own. While many of these ideas did not reach their full potential, he remained optimistic; a firm believer in the saying, “Fail fast, learn fast”.At the end of 2017, a thought occurred to him. He was convinced that it was a waste of resources to build any technology solely to earn stacks of money. He believed that any technology which is developed must serve a greater purpose and generate long-term value for markets and for society. He then decided to halt all startup involvement, switching his focus from being an idea-based entrepreneur to a “solution-based” entrepreneur.Since 2018, Dea has developed multiple tech solutions and platforms to digitalise and capitalise small & medium enterprises (SMEs). He has also consulted multiple companies and business leaders with his core competencies, which is the ability to assess any company’s business model and architect it into a long-term value-based company.
