Monitor engine, generators and compressors running hours. Supervise and intermediate between engineer and office about any other technical aspect of the boat. Choose dive sites and route. Plan each dive and supervise it. Guide or at least dive with clients (except night dive unless necessary). Plan and supervise afternoon activities. The cruise director has to Communicate with the rest of the crew to keep everything on Schedule.Is really important know the area as the cruise director has to decide the itinerary and decide the diving sites and the diving Schedule. Also he has to dive with the guest guiding them.Also has to billing for activities and rental equipment.
