I consult to mines and quarries on various aspects concerning their primary production methodologies, plant design and implementation, ferrous and non-ferrous commodity market analysis as well as heavy equipment requirements. I currently identify mining opportunities from “Grass Roots” level and take them to investment, design and flow of crushing and screening plants, yellow equipment sales and hire, Commodity Sales and brokering deals.I am based in Johannesburg South Africa and build relationships within the mining sector wherever I go. I am also familiar with many mines in other African countries such as Zambia, Zimbabwe, Mozambique, Swaziland and Namibia. I have compiled an extensive network over many years within the industry in all forms of different mining activities and commodity trading.I have mostly been consulting with Chinese companies to assist them in establishing themselves in South Africa, which combined with my 17 years within the industry from being National After Market Sales Manager for Osborn Engineered Products to importing my own crushing and screening plants from China and commissioning them in South Africa to selling ferrous and non ferrous commodities such as Aggregates, Chrome, Manganese, Iron Ore, Copper and Coal. I have a very good footing within the market to consult on various types of operational and sales platforms for various clients.I have also been involved in logistics from pit / plant to port and very familiar with all logistics incoterms. I have instilled trust and loyalty amongst those I have dealt with, both with regards to staff and customers. My network is very extensive and people regard me as honest, straight forward, hardworking and ambitious.I am well-travelled within Sub-Saharan Africa and enjoy meeting new people and learning new things each day.
