Fenix System: The Fenix System is an online platform for federated football management within a national scope (licences, championships, after-match reports…). My tasks in the project include the analysis, design and development of several features for the platform. Each development includes every layer of the related software (persistence layer, business layer, web layer and user interface). Some of the functionalities I have developed or I am currently maintaining are:- Design and development of a federative licences request manager, including documents scanning and management, online payment, digitally handwritten signature and cards printing among other functionalities.- Design and development of a rule engine to validate both national and regional licences according to national rules and regulations as well as other parameters. It covers every kind of federative licences: football players (both professional and amateurs), coaches and coaching staff.- Design and development of an authorizations manager that allows RFEF to manage authorizations for players coming from abroad, ex-professional players, loans and transfers of players and injured players among others.- Design and development of REST web services that allow regional federations to share information (licences, documents, contracts...) between their own local systems and all parties involved with the Fenix System.In addition to the software development itself, my tasks also involve training and supporting end-users (in person, phone and email assistance), taking software requirements from business directors from RFEF as well as Regional Federations, and writing documentation and user guides for the different modules that form the Fenix System. I have also taken part in technical workshops at RFEF and at FIFA headquarters (Zurich, Switzerland) related to the Fenix System as well as to other technical projects proposed by FIFA.

BBVA - Loans, cards and funds services: Analysis, design and implementation of services using agile method Scrum (3 week sprints/backlogs). Every sprint involves analyzing the code of the deprecated architecture (NACAR), design the service according to the new Spring architecture, implementation and testing of the solution.Technologies: Spring, Hibernate, J2EE, Tomcat, Maven + Nexus, JIRA.

Project at Ministerio de Justicia - Portal of Justice Management:Development of the Portal of Justice Management using Websphere (creating web pages and portlets), set up of the login system (Websphere and LDAP), development of a content porlet with webscripts (FreeMarker) and implementation of a security system which includes user profiles, login with certificated and a level of permissions for watching and interacting with the contents in Alfresco.Technologies: Spring, JPA, XML, J2EE, IBM WebSphere, Alfresco, WebScripts, LDAP, CSS, HTML, JSP, HTTP, MySQL.

Channels Initiative for Telefónica de España – Premium Channel: During the whole project I’ve been part of several development teams and have acquired strong technical knowledge (software architecture, programming, testing, software optimization, web design…) as well as functional knowledge of the developed Channel (users management, transactions, billing management, services…). Other responsibilities were verifying and validating the software before delivering it to the integration, stage and production environments.Technologies: Spring, Hibernate, XML, EJB, J2EE, WebLogic, Vignette, JavaScript, CSS, HTML, JSP, HTTP, MySQL

Channels Initiative for Telefónica de España – Premium Channel: For the first 3 months I’m part of the development team, during this time I learnt the architectures and methodologies used in the project. Project at Fundación Tripartita para la Formación en el Empleo: Installation and set up of the Checkbox Survey application; user and administrators training, translation of the manual from English to Spanish. In this project I also acquired skills for client managing and meeting minutes writing.Technologies: Checkbox Survey.

Project at Globalia: I was in the architecture team for 4 months, in which my tasks and responsibilities were solving bugs and software optimization.Technologies: Struts, JSP, XML, AJAX, JavaScript, MantisBT bugtracking system.

Development of an online video transcoder for the MESH project (http://www.mesh-ip.eu) using opensource FFMPEG and libavformat/libavcodec tools.
