I am a graduate of the College of Visual and Performing Arts, majoring in Arts Administration with a minor in Chinese. I am currently pursuing a Master of Arts in Teaching with Art Specialization at the University of North Carolina at Pembroke. I chose this graduate program and undergraduate degree because I have a passion for the arts and teaching. I strongly believe in integrating diverse cultural representation and TAB (Teaching for Artistic Behavior) classroom techniques into my teaching. I have experience interning at Artspace and working at the Pullen Arts Center with their summer art camp programs. My education and professional experience has allowed me to grow in my organizational, teamwork, and customer service skills. I hope to use these skills to benefit local schools and collaborate with arts organizations in building North Carolina's arts community.
