Daniel Diez is the Chief Strategy Officer for Agility Robotics, the leader in bipedal Mobile Manipulation Robots (MMR) and the maker of Digit, a humanoid robot purpose built for work. As Chief Strategy Officer Daniel is responsible for setting Agility’s overall business and go-to-market strategy, working closely with CEO Peggy Johnson. In this role, he also leads all marketing, product marketing, and communications efforts as the company enters its next phase of rapid commercial growth. At Agility, Daniel will tap his deep expertise in business transformation, corporate strategy, marketing, communications, and government relations to build the company's corporate reputation, grow awareness of the company's MMR product offering, and drive demand for Digit by creating understanding of the platform's ROI. Prior to joining Agility Robotics, Daniel was the Chief Commercial Officer of Magic Leap, the leader in enterprise Augmented Reality hardware. In his time at Magic Leap, Daniel has led the company’s public transformation from a consumer technology company to an enterprise technology company and was responsible for the commercial launch of Magic Leap 2. Prior to Magic Leap, Daniel served as Chief Marketing Officer and Head of Product at Transform Brands, the owner of the iconic Kenmore appliance brand. Prior to that, he was the Global Chief Marketing Officer for R/GA, a global marketing and innovation agency, and helped lead the company’s transformation from a digital marketing agency to a global advertising and brand transformation powerhouse. During his tenure, R/GA won the Cannes Lions Agency of the Year for work with brands like Samsung, Beats by Dre, and Nike, and launched an incubator for emerging technology companies.Throughout his career, Daniel has been an advocate for corporate citizenship and his passion for creating positive change extends beyond the world of business. He serves on the Board of the LGBT Community Center in New York and has previously served as a pro bono marketing and communications consultant for non-profit organizations including the Ad Council and the Human Rights Campaign.
