Daniel is researching the development of the new EU forest policy pathways that seek to achieve ambitious EU climate and biodiversity targets at the Chair of Forest and Environmental Policy, Freiburg.

Research and coordination support on strategic level evaluations of international development programming for: - The European Union (Climate, Blending and CSPEs; Georgia, Ukraine, Myanmar), - Swiss Development Cooperation (Climate and adaptation), - Norwegian Ministry of Affairs (Humanitarian support), - Finnish Ministry of Affairs (EU influencing, Global Education, Climate change), and - World Food Programme (CSPEs; Myanmar).Tasks: management, logistics, data collection and analysis, drafting of deliverables and dissemination products.

- Leading researcher & author investigating the role of environmental policymakers, advocates, practitioners, citizens, & stakeholders involved African conservation projects -Presenting at the Symposium on African Environmental Politics, led by the International Sociological Association (ISA) and to be published in the journal of Environmental SociologyPublication in process "Conservation Conflicts: a political ecology meta-synthesis of East Africa" with the Journal of Society and Resources.

- Assisting in the creation and design of the strategic planning, monitoring, and evaluation elements of Civil Peace Service (CPS) Ethiopia’s programme.- Actively participated in community dialogue training in preparation to deliver trust-building facilitation and familiarisation activities with the local stakeholders in the Nech Sar conflict.- Produced field reports on the Nech Sar resource conflict, facilitating meetings with important stakeholders and members of the community. - Developed conflict maps with GIS software for the CPS team to utilise in their strategic planning and conflict analysis.

- Executed extensive quantitative comparative data analysis using, Microsoft Excel and dashboard platforms, for delivery to clients. -Integral in the development of IT and data analysis platforms (analysis of supply base and supplier performance) for high-profile clients with over $2 trillion in purchasing spend, including the United States Federal Government, Walmart, L’Oréal and Unilever.-Contributed and carried out analysis for customer and public reports, providing advice and information for the development of large corporations’ supply chain environmental policies and public targets.- Delivered integral administrative support to team members both locally and internationally.- Spearheaded the CDP supply chain public procurements program, which has required research and strategic planning in order to liaise with British government departments and European state ministries. - Authored Supply Chain press releases, and prepared Supply Chain information briefings for high-profile government officials and their suppliers.

- Taught Music at the following schools: Tara Anglican School for Girls, James Ruse Agricultural High, Winston Hills Primary and Kellyville Primary. - Self-started, owned and managed a registered business, engaging schools as an external contractor. - Applied self-organisation and communication skills to educate children on how to perform and read music.

- Executed demanding tasks that required strong resilience to high stress situations, organisation skills and significant attention to detail.- As a member of the Reserve Ready Force (RRF), I was involved in community control training programs, which were integral for fire and flood disaster relief programs around Australia.- Secondary role to provide an excellent quality of musical entertainment at events and parades.
