Real Skills Education is a student-run not-for-profit organisation founded on the belief that true education should not be solely bound by academics. We at RSE recognise that organic interaction and soft skills remain key for day to day practice. Unfortunately, these skills are not formally taught in tertiary institutes. This is why Real Skills has embarked on a quest to teach tertiary STEM students the necessary skills to succeed in the real world, beyond pen and paper. My achievements as the Partnerships Coordinator: • Developed and nurtured relationships with potential partner companies such as Transport for New South Wales. • Co-Developed Customer Relations Manager and dashboard for effective monitoring of our current partners and potential leads. Dashboard allowed the Partnerships team to conveniently gauge progress with companies and performance of the team.

During my time as Director of Multimedia, I was the primary lead for all marketing and multimedia related operations. My key responsibilities were:• Effectively managing a 9 person team to deliver weekly projects such as videos, posters and cover photos as educational and marketing material. • Assigning tasks to individuals and monitoring their progress with weekly meetings on Trello/Slack. Training recruits to operate new software such as Adobe Illustrator.• Pushing for new initiatives such as video-based interviews, lessons, and highlight reels to increase our Sydney-wide reach

Project Academy is a unique tutoring company that's revolutionising the way students are taught. Through the digitalisation of resources into an iPad, a students' ability to achieve top-of-the-state results are always at their fingertips. Project Academy prides itself in its student-centric model, allowing every student an equal opportunity to excel beyond their own expectations.My responsibilities at Project Academy:• Managed a four person team to produce learning resources for more than 200 senior high school students.• Analysed student strengths and weaknesses to create personalised lesson plans. Involved on-the-fly problem-solving and clear explanation skills to deliver receptive content. • Learned new software and language to a high degree of skill (iBa, LaTeX), and employed these technical skills when writing new resources on a weekly deadline. • Improved adaptability to changing situations based on varying deadlines and team member unavailabilities.
