I am Initiative-taking individual, with 20 years of laboratory experience in the Environmental Science and Chemistry industries. Three key attributes about myself:1) I have the ability to creatively find solutions for problems in regard to test setup and analysis.2) I readily tackle new challenges with enthusiasm and commitment to successful completion of a task or solution to a problem. 3) I am enthusiastic about teaching others about either laboratory procedures or safety information. Able to deliver material and ensure that a person understands is rewarding to myself and I take immense pride when I see others learn and understand the concepts.I have direct experience in the following:• Analytical Instrumentation: GC, GC/MS, HPLC, IC, and TOC systems• Developing standard operating procedures for test methods to ensure compliance with quality control and assurance (QC/QA), safety, and accreditation (CALA)• Test Design and modifications to ensure all parameters are met for research or teaching• Active participate in safety by conducting Hazard Assessment and Control Forms, inspections, and training• Teaching others laboratory analysis and safetyTechnology is another area I explore in my free time. I try and keep up with modern hardware and software such as Microsoft 365 Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
