I also spent a dozen years in various senior energy industry managerial positions, giving me keen insight into my clients' needs.Some career highlights include:✔ Created the nation's first natural gas spot market bid program that changed the model for how natural gas was bought and sold nationally and saved southern California natural gas consumers hundreds of millions of dollars annually.✔ Served as President and Chief Operating Officer of the nation's first major minority-owned natural gas marketing company. ✔ Co-founded the Western Power Trading Forum, a major energy trade association dedicated to enhancing competition in Western electric markets.✔ Co-founded the Direct Access Customer Coalition, a regulatory advocacy group comprised of educational, governmental, commercial and industrial customers and the Alliance for Retail Energy Markets, a group of the state’s major electric service providers.
