After completion the building will have almost 400 student flats (17.000m²), lecture halls (5.250m²) and retail (1.600m²). In February 2011, we signed the contract with the developer. At the beginning of 2012, the building plan was sold, so we had to sign a new contract. I’m responsible for the whole process. The challenges were enormous. Among others the construction of the building is an underground three-story parking structure, the factor time is critical and the zoning had to be changed.City development Haga HospitalAt the beginning of this year, I became responsible for the city development Leyweg/ Escamplaan. This concerns the expansion of the hospital with 20.000 m², the construction of 740 homes, parking for 2.000 cars and 15.000 m² commercial related care facilities. For this project we are buying land from the hospital, changing the zoning, demolishing buildings and making the land ready for construction and selling it to a developer.

City Of The Hague

De dienst Onderwijs Cultuur en Welzijn, afdeling vastgoed is verantwoordelijk voor de aan, nieuw- en verbouw en onderhoud van circa 250 schoolgebouwen. Ik was verantwoordelijk voor de bouw van twee scholen. Daarnaast stelde ik samen met een software leverancier prognoses op en was ik verantwoordelijk voor de pilot voor elektronische huisvestingsaanvragen.

The department of Education, Culture and Welfare, Real Estate manage 250 school buildings. They manage several aspects of accommodating schools, maintenance, new building and also furniture. I was responsible for the development of two schools. Together with a software company I made the prognosis for the population between 4 and 18 years for the city of the Hague. In addition to that I make the gymnastics planning for the schools.
