National Institute of Astrophysics, Optics and Electronics (INAOE) is with roughly 400 employees of which 180 are research professors, approximately 500 graduate students, and an annual budget in 2019 of ~330 million MXN (approximately 18 million EUR), one of the 26 research institutes of the National Council for Science and Technology (CONACyT) in Mexico.
