Competenze tecniche: Utilizzo dei principali strumenti di misura di laboratorio; progettazione di componenti e stadi e moduli a microonde e di schede video digitali. Progettazione di moduli attualmente impiegati nei sistemi ESM (Electronic Support Measures)/ECM (Electronic Counter-Measures) nella fregata “Horizon”, nei caccia intercettori “Eurofighter Typhoon” e “Tornado” e nel missile antiaereo superficie-aria “ASTER”.Job Title: MICROWAVE DESIGNERTechnical tasks : Microwave Components and Microwave System Modules designer; Digital and Analog electronic designer.Design of Microwave Components/Integrations for very high band applications (the frequencies start normally from 2 GHz to 18 GHz but is usual to extend the band up to 40 GHz) used in the ESM (Electronic Support Measures)/ECM (Electronic Counter-Measures) Systems for “Horizon”, ”Fremm”, “Eurofighter Typhoon”, “Tornado” and “ASTER” programs.Design of Synthesiser Modules, Front End Modules, Amplification Stages, Down-conversion Modules actually used in “Eurofighter Typhoon”, “Tornado” fighters and “Horizon/Fremm” frigates. These Modules are normally composed by a microwave circuit driven by a video-digital board.Skills about use of laboratory instrumentation (Oscilloscopes, Network Analyzers, Spectrum Analyzers, Synthesisers,…) to verify the electric performances and for defect investigation activities.Skills to allocate the electric, environmental requirements in microwave modules to start from system requirements.Skills to identify the components (make or buy) to reach all the specified performances al module/ sub-module level.
