Ensure design and systems follow best practices with full use of upfront CAE analysis and simultaneous engineering. Confirm component and system design and verification/validation testing are completed with efficient use resources to reduce lead time and development costs.

Carry out FEM analysis for Transmission components to evaluate displacements, stress, vibrations and predict fatigue life. Interpret the results and suggest design modifications to the Design Team. Liaise with the Testing Department in order to reduce physical prototyping and testing. Research and investigation new analysis and experimentation techniques with a view to improving model validation and accuracy.Tools: Hypermesh, Abaqus and Nastran.

Lead the refinement development task for the specified engine program and develop testing and analysis workplans to support the program timing. Interpret analysis and test results to provide expert recommendations to the design team. Liaise and work with veichle and installation teams to deliver total NVH system to program targets. Lead component and design teams in resolutions of refinement issues.

Plan vehicle tests in order to validate Chassis & Body Vehicle. Instrument vehicles and perform tests on special paths, trucks and standard roads. Interpret and analyze the results to provide feedback and suggestions to the Design and CAE team. Main devices used for the acquisitions: strain gauges, accelerometers, thermocouples, CAN-BUS, data acquisition system and software for data analysis and post-processing.
