I studied Automotive Engineering at the Politecnico di Torino. In March 2020, I completed my bachelor's degree and started the related master's course. In July 2022, I obtained my master's degree. I specialised in powertrain development, consequently I developed a strong knowledge about internal combustion engines, hybrid and fully electric powertrains.Since March 2019 I have been an active member of 2WheelsPolito, a student team engaged in the design of both internal combustion and all-electric racing motorbike prototypes. In this area, I developed my Bachelor's thesis on the analysis of a possible drive system for the new electric prototype. In July 2021, the team became world champion in the petrol class in the motostudent class. As a result of the course of study I have acquired knowledge in engineering and software relating to various areas: CAD/FEM design (Solidworks/NX Hypermesh/Inspire), CFD (Star CCM+), programming languages (Matlab, C++), I have also had small experiences with Converge and Adams, and I have delved into 0D/1D modelling and simulation (Simulink/GT Suite/Amesim). The latter is the topic I have explored in my master's thesis at FEV Italia srl regarding the Phoenice H2020 project. The latter aims to design a plug-in hybrid demonstration vehicle with the objective of maximising the efficiency of the entire powertrain in order to achieve the lowest possible fuel consumption and emissions. I am passionate about mechanics, motoring and motorcycling, especially the world of racing (F1, MotoGP, WEC, GT). In my spare time I dedicate myself to maintaining my motorbike, assembling computers and programming; I also enjoy travelling, skiing and sports in general.
