I was responsible in assisting our Account Management Organization in the identification and development of operational tools (including but not limited to scripts, macros and databases) to increase productivity, operational efficiency, and overall process improvement.I was responsible for documenting user guides for newly developed tools and assisting in the training of TMC operations employees on tool usage, as well as keeping updated communication to all TMC employees regarding the development and release of new tools. I was also be responsible in measuring, tracking and reporting metrics detailing productivity increases in FTE saved.I was responsible for working with TMC and Corporate IT resources in managing the transition of TMC developed tools into source system enhancements that are managed and supported by CHRW corporate resources.- Develop tools for TMC Process Automation and/or Optimization- Work with team to discover new productivity enhancement opportunities- Work with team to prioritize requests submitted from TMC employees- Leverage tools across accounts where opportunities exist- Assist TMC account teams with the processing of batch data through scripts and macros- Work towards integration of developed tools into CHRW Source Systems- Develop plan with Corporate IT to transition automation into core TMS (Transportation Management System)- Prepare enhancement scope for future TMS development- Manage queue of most opportune script transitions- Manage relationships with corporate and shared service key stakeholders- Assist in training and knowledge sharing of tools usage- Assess at-stake risk that exists with deployed tools- Develop controls and contingency plans- Quantify risks and publish to management teams- Act as liaison between TMC account operations and sales and implementation teams for on-boarding business to optimize profitability

I worked as a Business Intelligence Tool Analyst at Kohl's Corporate office. I am an intern for Robert Bosch LLC which is a multinational engineering and electronics company. I am working at one of their subsidiaries in North America, specifically one of their power tool factory and distribution facility. There, I work in their CI division located in Mount Prospect, IL. CI is short for Corporate Sector Information Systems also known as the Information Technology division. I work in the Application Foundation Regional department which is in charge of the telephony systems across Bosch North America. Tasks and responsibilities I am involved with include:- Maintenance and cleanup of data for our responsible servers- Defining server security classifications for voicemail and call centers- Producing a marketing campaign for the roll-out of their new telephony service- Helped maintain and administer big data for the charging of our cost centers- Customer engagement for the features and functionalities of the new telephony service- Created a system guide for one of the services Bosch provides for telephony users as well as a several tutorial videos for using the new telephony service and its functionalities Overall the internship has been very rewarding, as well as a great experience in the business world.
