During the period 2019 to 2023, Daniel provided services as an incorporated consultant to Crowe Soberman’s Valuations | Forensics | Litigation Group, having retired as an incorporated partner at the end of 2018. Daniel had over 25 years of experience in quantification of losses or payments in insurance and litigation claims. Daniel has now retired from the provision of professional services.Over his career, Daniel had extensive experience in the development of expert witness reports for use in insurance or litigation claims. He worked closely with lawyers, insurers and business managers. Daniel had expertise in a broad range of matters, including business or personal claims for lost earnings, major property losses; commercial disputes, employee fraud, and statutory accident benefit claims. From 2002 until 2018, Daniel taught (online) in loss quantification courses within the Diploma of Investigative and Forensic Accounting program at the University of Toronto. Daniel now teaches loss quantification in the Master of Forensic Accounting program at the University of Toronto.
