CurrentParaPride exists to ensure the experience of all members of the LGBTQ+ community is a fun, welcoming and equal. We execute this ambition across three main verticals:- Increasing the visibility and volume of inclusive spaces for LGBTQ+ people with disabilities- Producing events and working with venues and other social spaces to produce events for LGBTQ+ people with disabilities- Promoting information and resources, awareness training and campaigns for better consideration of the obstacles faced by this community.Community engagement is a crucial aspect for organisations like Parapride. It is very important that we are representatives, and present in the communities we belong to and support. At Parapride, it is my responsibility to forge relationships with other community groups, charities and organisations, to focus on positive, long lasting social impact.
