Responsible for oversight of a large portfolio of partnership projects (currently twenty). This position is responsible for developing the partnership approach – to support partners while holding them accountable – and all of the required systems for supporting and managing partners – Organisational development, project management and monitoring.

To develop the presence and role of the organization in the countryTo Manage Projects Portfolio (passed from 2 mln USD per year, 150 staff to 5 mln USD and more than 300 staff) in Myanmar and coordinate the overall programme in the country, To explore new opportunities, To develop the country strategy, To develop and follow up strategic alliances

The following duties are assigned:Provide technical assistance to the implementation of Participatory methods and tools in the HKKH Partnership Project (www.hkkhpartnership.org) Develop a methodology for a Socio-economic survey at Household level in the Central Karakorum National Park in Pakistan.Contribute to the design of one Visitors' Survey and one Porters' Survey in the Sagarmatha National Park in NepalDevelop a Capacity Development Strategy on Participatory Methods.Being responsible for the preparation of a Participatory Methods ManualDevelop a Country Strategy for CESVI to be submitted to the Social Welfare Council of Nepal.To develop new project proposals in the country

Kenya UNA - Consortium Project Assistant To Design new Project Proposals (i.e. a new phase of an Education Project in Somalia to be funded by the European Commission; a proposal submitted to Regione Lombardia on integrated production of silk moth and Marula tree in Kenya; a proposal submitted to Fondazione Cariplo on AIDS/HIV awareness in Kenya; Budgeting a proposal submitted to the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs on AIDS/HIV in Kenya);To carry out assessment missions in Somalia and Southern Sudan for the new Project Proposals;To organize and attend workshops with local NGOs on the need/problem analysis for future interventions;To attend to the meetings in Nairobi for Somalia (SACB - Sectoral Education meetings) and Southern Sudan (Operation Lifeline Sudan meetings);To follow the on-going projects in Somalia (i.e. to prepare Terms of Reference for Project Consultancies; Procurements for Project Material; To liaise with EC-Technical Advisers; To liaise with the Project Managers
