Daniele is an entrepreneur with a background of Consulting in Transaction Services (M&A) at KPMG Italy and France. Daniele is based in Nairobi, Kenya and is the co-founder of 637 Capital and Savannah Capital.637 Capital identifies structural gaps in markets and addresses them through software and investment. 637 Capital’s key competitive advantage is the ability to combine software and finance expertise to identify, negotiate and manage investments as well as building proprietary software. Daniele leads all operations at 637 Capital while also handling all sourcing and management activities. His co-founder in turn handles the technology arm of the company. 637 Capital manages the investments on behalf of Savannah Capital, a company that invests in high-end lodges to promote innovative and commercially sustainable conservation models.In the past three years, Daniele and his team developed a strong partnership with the world leader in organic macadamia processing, facilitating a loan of EUR 3.5m and lead the business development of the partner company in the US through 637 Capital’s US entities. Daniele also promoted an ongoing deal in the wind sector securing a LOI of EUR 90 million for a 20% stake and closed its first investment for Savannah Capital.Prior to being an entrepreneur, Daniele has over 8 years’ experience in Audit and Transaction Services from prior employment at KPMG (5 in Milan, 3 in Paris). Here he served as manager and was responsible for assessing quality of earnings, adjusted net debt, working capital and SPA negotiations for buy and sell-side engagements in deals ranging from €40m to €10b EV.
