Within my role in Telguard, I oversee three different departments: Marketing, Product Management, and Technical Services. As part of the marketing department, our team’s focus is on revenue growth through lead generation and brand awareness with a focus on digital strategies, while maintaining a presence in the traditional marketing space.As part of the Product Management team, the focus is on bringing the latest and greatest technologies to the Security and Life-safety segments, which will satisfy the ever-growing needs of our current and prospective customer base. The team manages the life cycle from conceptualization to discontinuation.Within the Technical Services group, the team engages in supporting all technical aspects related to system performance and customer support. From engaging customers through the Technical Support teams, to providing sales engineering support, SME, and ensuring stability of the system, the technical services team is at the core of the business.

As the Senior Director of Technical Services, I oversee a team of over 20 people that offer Production Service Support for the Telguard division, as well as Product Lifecycle Management for the entire Telguard product line. Production Service Support includes technical support for service and installation technicians, as well as production service maintenance, release verification, and stability monitoring and improvements of the Telguard Communications Center.Telguard is a division of AMETEK that focuses on the communication hardware and services for intrusion and life safety systems. Telguard started in the security industry offering wireless communication paths for the Alarm Security Industry: AMPS and GSM systems; and has evolved through the years into the latest mobile technologies: SMS, GPRS, HSPA/UMTS, CDMA, and now LTE. Telguard devices are manufactured to interact with Residential, Commercial, Burg and Fire, and even PERS applications using a variety of industry standard protocols with analog and IP delivery to Central Stations. Telguard's portfolio now includes Life Style services as well as Life Safety options with the integration of its Telguard HomeControl and HomeControl Flex platforms, which enhance security systems to go beyond the security aspect and into the fully interactive automation domain, which include remote security panel interactions, home automation, video services, etc.
