Participated in $128.0 million refinancing of Company indebtedness, providing a growth and working capital facility and a stockholder distribution; the latter of which had multiple income tax considerations evaluated for the company and stockholders. Participated in $7.0 million acquisition of another restaurant concept and implemented systems and procedures to bring online with no finance headcount increase. Participated in $93.5 million sale of selected restaurants to original franchisor, to allow for development of proprietary brand concept. Reorganized accounting department concurrent with sale to generate commensurate administrative savings. Project Leader for Cost Segregation study which accelerated over $14 million in depreciation in one year. Reduced monthly closing window by five days. Completed installation of automated cash reconciliation application contributing to a significant reduction in cash shortages. Completed payroll and human resources system upgrade to maximize system capabilities, thereby eliminating numerous ad-hoc reporting procedures. Completed automation of invoice entry from restaurants and vendors to headquarters, thereby negating headcount increases while restaurant counts increased.

Directed the planning process for a $700 million publicly traded restaurant operator, franchiser, and manufacturer of frozen dessert products; including annual and five-year planning functions, profit and loss, cash flow, and balance sheet forecasting. Created and implemented a comprehensive financial model used by the Company to evaluate all potential franchising transactions.

Managed the financial planning and analysis for a $300 million operating region, reporting to the Corporate Controller and supporting the Region Vice President of Operations. Coordinated the Region's annual plan development, including profit and loss statements and capital allocations. Identified the region's on-going profit opportunities and exposures. Designed and implemented a centralized weekly and monthly reporting system of key statistics for the operating region which allowed for total comparability of information used by senior and middle management.

Merged the accounting functions of two corporate entities, significantly reducing redundant functions. Created and maintained three-year cash flow and balance sheet projection model. Created and implemented restaurant level budgeting of the detailed profit and loss statement.
