I have over 10 years' work experience with project management in the non-profit sector. I am currently working as a Program Officer at Employment and Social Development Canada (ESDC).Prior to joining the Government of Canada, I worked as an Information and Referral Specialist at YMCA Ottawa/Canada, providing settlement services and helping newcomers adapt to local culture, improve language skills, and enter the Canadian labor market. I also have experience working as a popular educator and program advisor for social projects developed with family farmers and minority groups.Through my work experience, I developed strong leadership, research, strategic, and planning skills. I also acquired effective experience with the organization and coordination of events, elaboration, budgeting, and development of social projects, cooperation, and international aid.
