Primary Duties and Responsibilities (Logistics)• Develop a high-level view of our current logistics chain strengths, challenges, and opportunities, analyzing and optimizing procedures.• Own logistics operations Inbound-Outbound WIP; Track DC capacity and utilization. • Perform day to day maintenance tasks• Procure and manage outside contractors utilized for facility and grounds maintenance • Ensure the safety of the building, its contents, and employees• Monitor and maintain all communication devices and accounts both on premises and mobile• Provide custom clearance documentation, verify accuracy of all invoices for freight, duty, and royalty charges and ensure these charges are properly accounted for• Order/stock/distribute supplies for building, warehouse, office, vending, and packaging• Pack/label all small parts deliveries to ensure they are ready for sale• Print inventory labels for inbound goods as needed to ensure that all product is accurately labeled• Create EDI invoices, ASNs, and UCC labels• Coordinate supplies, equipment, and transportation for Demo purposes• Create and send shipping documents to appropriate customers/contacts to function as ASNs• Communicate with freight carriers to provide updates to sales team on shipment status• Participate in inventory/cycle counts• Responsible for closing the building
