In my current role as Executive Director, I am responsible the overall organization from an operational, sales and technology standpoint. We currently operate in two strategic locations (Toronto and Montreal) and are the largest, Canadian operated, background screening company. I started my career with Equifax Canada in 1988 in its Insurance Information Division (IIS) as a Junior Investigator completing various types background screening and insurance related investigations, Equifax divested themselves of their IIS division in 1995 through a Management buyout, creating the company Keyfacts Canada. Keyfacts Canada was later sold to GardaWorld in 2006. In 2013 Garda Background Screening Solutions separated from GardaWorld to create a "stand alone" company. Since 1988 I have held many positions within the company, steadily progressing in my career. In my current role as Executive Director, I work closely with our President and share the overall responsibility for our organization from an operational, sales and technology standpoint. I have led the organization to be on the forefront of the background screening industry by encouraging sound/secure practices, expecting quality results and encouraging an entrepreneurial spirit.As a founding member and current Past-Chair (Chair 2014-2015) of the Canadian chapter of the National Association of Professional Background Screeners (NAPBS) I have worked closely with others in our industry to improve screening overall in Canada through education, best practices and ethical behaviour. Among my greatest achievements in my career are:• Successfully directed numerous large scale investigation projects (billing exceeding $1,000,000 per file) while exceeding all goals (results, time service and profitability);• Consistently exceeding sales targets growth and operational profitability goals;• Setting and maintaining the "Benchmarks" for online Background Screening Solutions in Canada;
