Discovery Attorney/Litigation Analyst Consultant
CurrentI analyze and evaluate documents for law firms and their vendors for responsiveness in a particular case, typically performing Privilege Log, Team Lead, Thread Checking, Quality Control and other Substantive work. Committee Member - Transportation Committee
CurrentAs a member of the Transportation Committee, I meet with other attorneys who are involved in or have an interest in transportation issues. Together we research issues and pass issues as necessary, as well as welcoming speakers. Areas of interest include freight traffic management, capital funding, federal funding, the railroads, subway, and buses, as well as other pertinent issues.During my stint as Committee Secretary helped arrange meetings and acted as liasion between the committee chair,guest speakers, and the bar assocation administration.

As Testing Coordinator, I researched and selected housing providers in local municipalities to investigate potential Fair Housing violations. To aide with the investigation, I recruited and maintained a pool of 20 per diem investigators.
Mortgage Default Counselor (Promoted From Law Intern In July 2012)
I evaluated mortgages to determine whether mortgage contained Fair Housing, ECOA, and HMDA, as well as other legal issues. Also, I analyzed Fair Lending Tests to evaluate whether loan officers are violating Fair Lending laws. Additionally, I performed demographic and legal history research for foreclosed properties around Westchester County to determine whether mortgage servicers and investors were maintaining their properties according to the law. I have a functional knowledge of the following documents: 1003 loan application, HUD-1 form, Note and Mortgage, and a functional knowledge in the supporting tax forms. Finally, my findings contributed to policy suggestions regarding housing in Westchester County.

As a Law Clerk, I conducted research using WestLaw and LexisNexis, as well as statutory and other resources from the New York State library and helped draft memoranda of law. During this time, I performed research that contributed to a major lawsuit regarding the furlough of state employees. I also summarized recent cases and current trends in relevant areas of law. As an Intern with GORR, I drafted legal memoranda and analyzed rules to ensure SAPA compliance. I also researched case law and statutory law for issues regarding agency merger, contract law, and attorney-client ethics.
