@ COMAE/COPESubordinated to the Aerospace Operations Command (COMAE), the Space Operations Center (COPE) was built with the objective of operating and monitoring the Geostationary Defense and Strategic Communications Satellite (SGDC), whose use is dual (civil and military). On the one hand, using the Ka band, it allows access to broadband connections in all parts of Brazil. And, from the X band, it is possible to process information related to the defense and governmental areas. COPE is the second datacenter in Brazil to receive the TIER 4 certificate from the Uptime Institute.Tasks:- Responsible for coordinating the maintenance of all mission-critical infrastructure, including HVAC, power generators, UPS, fire suppression systems and Building Management System (BMS).- Write and review standard operating procedures (SOP).- Write and review maintenance plans.- Manage electricity and diesel fuel supply contracts.- Work Health and Safety Instructor.

LMEst (Structural Mechanics Laboratory) aims to develop teaching and applied research related to the study of the static and dynamic behavior of structural systems. It also hosts the INCT-EIE (National Institute of Science and Technology of Smart Structures in Engineering), recognized by their research qualification in that specialty.Tasks: - Worked in a research project devoted to Structural Health Monitoring (SHM) with the participation of Embraer. The project aimed to develop a low-cost product that would increase the reliability of aircraft's structures, while making it possible to reduce manufacturing costs.- Studied the performance of adhesives used to bond piezoelectric transducers on rotating shafts after the application of dynamic fatigue loads. Until that time, there were few works regarding the effects of adhesive on the performance of the impedance-based SHM technique, particularly with respect to the application of the method to fault detection in rotating shafts.
