I lead the Local Government Education Program and work with Wisconsin Local governments (Counties, Cities, Villages and Towns) and their respective associations to educate and help improve local official’s skills in legal, operations and policy issues.

Daniel’s Local Government Center work focuses on researching, teaching and writing on Open Meetings/Records, Effective Meetings, Boards of Review, Parliamentary Procedure, Transportation and the Future Generation of Local Government Elected Officials.Daniel’s entire career as an employee, association executive, and consultant has focused on municipal, regional and state governments. His work involves community development, funding/financing, legal, operations, governance and transportation infrastructure (highways, airports, bus and rail transit, freight railroads, inland ports and airports. He led the City of Macon, GA’s Second Street Transformation Plan, the Atlanta Region’s Transit Aspirations Plan and the Georgia Department of Transportation’s Statewide Rural and Human Services Plan.
