Led the Technical design of a next generation property management solution for hotels and served as the due diligence lead with the targeted charter client. This highly complex design and supporting business case involved creating a detailed roadmap to transition the targeted client from their current state of property management to the next generation solution along with designing a software product based on leading edge software concepts such as cloud computing, multitenant architecture, and a software as a service business model (SaaS). Working directly with client CIO and SVP business resources to strategically plan transition, implementation, and support of the solution for their organization Structured approach and led execution of a detailed 6 month due diligence phase with the targeted charter client to determine baseline costs, business case, and associated alignment of client requirements to our proposed solution design Managed over a 30 person design team (on and offshore) with a supporting budget over $3 million to complete detailed design artifacts and estimation of a deal size over $200 million in revenue Created a high fidelity prototype to demonstrate the user experience of the solution to support sales initiatives and establish a baseline design pattern

Led the roadmap planning of an enterprise wide transformational program to assess over 2,000 applications across 5 different operating companies within 8 month duration. Led the plan, design, development, test and deployment of a global custom web solution intended to provide travel agents the capability to browse, book, and add amenities to a cruise vacation for a single guest or group. Responsible for completing global deployment of the solution and ensuring scalability and performance of both web components and a supporting SOA architecture based on OTA schemas. Led design of technical architecture which included a J2EE web platform, a SOA leveraging IBM’s Enterprise Service Bus, and a AS/400 backend Managed a total of 5,000 days of effort and a hardware and software budget over $2 millionConducted operational readiness and performance testing along with all supporting monitoring configurations to prepare for production operationsEstablished a global deployment approach with a supporting command center to ensure consistent delivery of global deployments and a 24x7 support process
