The Director of Human Resources (HR) is the most senior HR position for the General Secretariat and reports directly to the Secretary for Administration and Finance. The Director of HR supervises a diverse Department of Human Resources (DHR) team totaling approximately 21 staff members and consultants in Washington DC, and local professional staff members working virtually from other locations.Leads the OAS HR team in managing the full range of HR programs including the post-classification system, recruitment, staffing, compensation system, performance contract system, benefits, medical and life insurance programs, internal grievance and disciplinary procedures, staff hiring, coordination of official visas and OAS travel documents, performance evaluation, and the Organization’s internship program.
