• Planning and monitoring of the operational flow of imports, ensuring their integrity according to legislation and their obligations.• Responsible for maintaining a healthy stock level of line products via forecast and placing the order with the various international suppliers to receive the goods in a timely manner.• Control of the flow of documents required in the import operational process, governed by customs regimes, tax classifications, and international and national legal legislation (inputs, finished products and machinery).• Organization of necessary procedures (import and export), defining the best modal (air, sea or road) after cost-benefit analysis via simulations.• Certification and monitoring of the requirements of bodies responsible for the processes (example: INMETRO, Anvisa).• Identification and optimization of business opportunities (demurrage, warehousing, freight).• Participation and effectiveness of closing processes (customs brokers, freight forwarders, international carriers, inspection companies).• Production of reports on performance and area benchmarks.• Maintenance of the flow through an active relationship with external and internal customers of the process.• Interface with the Tax and Financial Department via tax and financial procedures related to operations.

• Contact with shipowners, airlines, carriers, partners in several countries for consultation and negotiation of values;• Market study for purposes of negotiation and preparation of prices for end customers and for the Commercial Department;• Prospecting for new customers through quotations requested by agents abroad.

• Management of international purchases, maintaining contact and negotiating prices with old and new suppliers located in the United States, Germany and Australia;• Coordination of the best options for the transport of purchases, choosing the cargo agents, forwarding agents, transporters and customs warehouses to be used, monitoring all the details of the operation (agreed prices and deadlines, in addition to possible complications at Customs);• Working together with the Commercial Department, providing quotations to customers, as well as receiving purchase orders from them and arranging for the manufacture and/or import of the requested material, coordinating its delivery within the stipulated deadlines and conditions;• Issuance of documents such as Invoices, Correction Letters and others on a routine basis, as well as sector and company performance reports.

• Development of import and export processes (including the creation of proforma and commercial invoices, packing lists, drafts for Bills of Ladings and Certificates of Origin) and import;• Direct contact with freight forwarders in Brazil and abroad; with shipping and airline companies; with forwarding agents and with carriers;• Direct contact with importers in America, Europe, Asia and Oceania, contact with banks to confirm incoming (export) and sent (import) payment orders;• Analysis of Letters of Credit;• Direct follow-up of import processes, checking all process documentation, sending pre-alerts to importers and exporters;• Coordination of preparation of export documents with customs agents (invoices, drafts and certificates of origin), check export and import documents, send documents to the foreign exchange department, contact government agencies such as the Ministry of the Army and others,• Quotation and contracting of freight, in addition to monitoring and providing follow-up of import shipments - whether by sea, road or air;• Space agency on ships in shipping companies.
